What we collect
Meal Planner Deluxe collects the minimum data needed to operate the service:
- Email address — only if you voluntarily submit it via the waitlist or feedback form.
- Feedback messages — only if you submit the feedback form.
- Basic analytics events — page views and feature usage (e.g. "match generated"), logged server-side without personal identifiers.
Local storage
Meal Planner Deluxe stores data in your browser's localStorage to provide core features. This includes usage counts, saved meal plans, analytics events (for debugging), and your consent preference. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly submit a form.
How we use your data
- Email addresses are used only to send product updates you opted into.
- Feedback is used only to improve the product.
- Analytics are used only in aggregate to understand feature usage.
Third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms. When payment features launch, payments will be processed by Stripe. Both services have their own privacy policies.
Data deletion
You can clear all locally stored data by clearing your browser's site data for Meal Planner Deluxe. To request deletion of any email or feedback you've submitted, contact us at hello@mealplannerdeluxe.com.
Children
Meal Planner Deluxe is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
