- cherry tomatoes
- fresh mozzarella

Directions
- 1Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook penne until al dente.
- 2While pasta cooks, halve cherry tomatoes and tear fresh mozzarella into pieces.
- 3Mince garlic and warm in olive oil over low heat for 2 minutes—do not brown.
- 4Drain pasta and toss with garlic oil, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella.
- 5Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, and top with fresh basil.
